Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how FeedJar ("FeedJar", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website, dashboard, and SDKs (the "Service").

1. Information we collect

From developers (account holders)

  • Account info: name, email address, hashed password.
  • Project data: project names, app names, platforms, API key metadata.
  • Usage and security logs (IP, user agent, request times).

From end users (people sending feedback through your app)

  • Feedback content the end user submits.
  • Optional email address provided by the end user with their feedback.
  • Technical metadata sent by your app (e.g. app version, OS, locale) you choose to attach.

2. How we use information

  • To operate, secure, and improve the Service.
  • To deliver feedback you collect from your users to your dashboard.
  • To respond to support requests and send essential service emails.

We never sell personal information. We do not use end-user feedback content for training third-party models without explicit opt-in.

3. Data ownership

As a developer, you own the feedback your users submit through your app. We process it on your behalf as a data processor.

4. Data retention

Feedback is retained while your account is active. You can delete feedback, apps, projects, or your account at any time. After deletion, backups expire within 30 days.

5. Security

  • API keys are stored hashed and shown only once at creation.
  • Passwords are hashed with bcrypt.
  • All traffic is served over HTTPS.

6. Subprocessors

We use a small set of infrastructure providers (hosting, database, email). The current list is available on request via feedjar@gmail.com.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. Contact us to exercise them.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA). Do not use FeedJar to collect data from children without parental consent.
